Abstract

Investment decisions are often explained through observable financial characteristics and cognitive biases, while the psychological mechanisms through which stable personality characteristics translate into investment behaviour remain comparatively less integrated. This study examines whether emotional finance and financial risk tolerance operate as parallel mechanisms through which personality traits influence investment decision-making among retail investors.
