RELIABILITY ASSESMENT OF RCC FRAMES VERTICALLY IRREGULAR BUILDINGS
Abstract
In the current study, vulnerability and reliability analyzes were used to investigate performance of typical OGS buildings1designedconsidering hierarchical structures with different scale factors and different geometric configurations. As intensity metric, the crucial inter-storey1drift is taken into account. The result of study is shows that for 6, 8 & ten storied OGS frames1at various performance levels, such as IO, LS, and CP, the likelihood of failure and reliability indices for all frames at PGA of11.05g are determined. In contrast to full in filled frames (FF), which are able to achieve the intended dependability at all performance levels, bare frames (BF) are unable to do so. This is according to ISO 2394, 1998.
