Abstract

 

 

The expanding trade and investment between India and sub-Saharan African nations is driving this relationship in new ways. The last decade has witnessed a flurry of activity and initiatives - many of which have been sponsored by the business sector - that have revitalized their historical link. The extent and nature of their economic interactions vary greatly, as a result of the level of development of their respective domestic economies and the peculiarities of the foreign demand for the commodities produced. Sub-Saharan African nations continue to require an influx of foreign investment, especially given the significant lag that the bulk of these nations continue
