DIVIDEND PAYOUTS AND DIVIDEND POLICY

Abstract

This article studies the views of different scientists on the specific aspects of dividend payments in
companies, the regularity of dividend payments, dividend profitability and etc. In studying the
characteristics of dividend payments in companies, companies belonging to different industries in
the USA, Great Britain are analyzed. Moreover, the indicators of stocks with the highest dividend
yield in the USA are studied. Based on the conducted analysis, appropriate conclusions and
proposals are given.
