Abstract

The Kumaon Hills of Uttaranchal, India are very rich in medicinal and aromatic plants, hence a detailed survey is being conducted to assess their availability, for bioactive constituents and commercial uses. In this paper a preliminary list of medicinal and aromatic plants found in Pithoragarh.
