Future of Work: Automation and Job Displacement - A Study

Abstract

The fourth Industrial revolution characterised by raoid technological advancement in the form of drivers of automations like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics and machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud Computing with Big data is no doubt, transforming the nature of work. These drivers of automation are increasingly displacing the traditional jobs, posing significant challenges to the global wok force. This phenomenon raises critical questions about the future of work, job security, and the potential for wide spread unemployment.  This article examines the future of work culture, mitigating job displacements and its strategies and remedial measures.
