Abstract

The growing reliance on technology for fundamental communication emphasizes the need of studying how social networks effect people's daily lives. Sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp are impacting how users build, maintain, and collaborate on a variety of social interactions, from deep friendships to casual encounters. The primary research question of the study is to determine the link between various elements of online platforms and political knowledge. The study's main goal is to investigate how social media might assist raise political awareness. The survey reveals that a high number of respondents watch presidential elections on social media, and a large number of respondents believe it is critical for political leaders to be active on social media. The BJP is the most recognized party on social media outlets. The analysis found that Narendra Modi is the most popular legislator on social networking networks. The study clearly shows that social networking platforms improve political awareness.
