Abstract

Some people effectively adjust to their surroundings while many others do not, implying that there are certain elements that aid in good adjustment and others that inhibit satisfactory adjustment. To comprehend this, it is important to explore some of the theories of adjustment models. The primary goal of this research is to conduct a study on physical fitness & adjustment in under graduate students in the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka State. Physically weak sportspersons may find it difficult to adjust adequately in society and will most likely have a poor adjustment level as a result of their physical weakness. Physically fit sportspersons, on the other hand, may be adapting well to the unusual situations. It might aid them in establishing stronger adjustment skills. Sportspersons adjustment was examined in this study, and it was hypothesized that male adjustment is much better than female adjustment. Males in this nation have the freedom to mix freely in society, which allows them to improve and enhance their social image. Even now, there are various limitations on females; women cannot mix freely in society as men may. As a result, girls find it challenging to develop superior social skills. A girl or lady who openly mingle in society is looked down upon. Of sure, the image is progressively shifting, but at a glacial rate.
